Absolutely cracking pub meal. Great service and atmosphere. I had the full face steak which was cooked to perfection and massive, my wife had the whole plaice and the lemongrass butter was very tasty. Panna cotta 10/10. Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend for a great pub meal.

Lovely pub with a great restaurant. Very attentive staff. We went for Sunday lunch and there was a good atmosphere, plenty of dogs and great food. We had a delicious scotch egg and a charcuterie board followed by the best steak and chips, a whole plaice and highly recommend the delicious kale. The pannancotta with pistachio cream can't be beaten. Thank you for a terrific lunch.

What an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The kind, funny and attentive staff found space for us to dine when we hadn't made a reservation. They accommodated all of our dietary needs and made changes to dishes with good humour and friendliness. Shout out to Eric on the bar! The food was perfection. I would highly recommend The Cornish Arms to anyone who enjoys a down to earth, authentic dining experience in a beautiful historic building with lovely staff and delicious food cooked with skill and care.

We've just had the most wonderful Sunday dinner. We were looked after by Jaz who was so professional, friendly and patient. The roast beef was delicious and all the accompanying vegetables well cooked. However, the star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding. Easily the best I've ever had. We'll be back.

Had a great roast there on Sunday night. Hearty portions. Cauliflower cheese and the gravy standouts! Dog so happy at our table. Noah and Claire served us and were so lovely and attentive. Only tip - ice buckets need water AND ice. Not just ice! Champagne needs to be chilled! Apparently some customers don’t want wine labels wet - well, I prefer chilled fizz! Staff were helpful and desserts delicious. I’d be back in a heartbeat. Thank you

The food we had was lovely (burgers) but we were a little bit disappointed that the fish on the menu for fish and chips was coley and we only found out because we asked. On the plus side the staff were lovely, decor and ambience was great and we had our dogs with us in the restaurant. I would go again for sure!

Had a fabulous Sunday roast here. Great, well kept ales. Excellent choice of gins. The service was very friendly, helpful and speedy. Ordered our meals (all 4 of us went for the beef roast) and drinks at the same time and the food was out just after the drinks. The meat was beautifully tender, lovely Yorkshire pudding, loads of vegetables including cauliflower cheese and a big jug of gravy. All delicious then the desserts were out of this world.
